THE WOMAN
& HER SEED

Understanding the Woman and the Role of Her Desires in the Dominion Mandate of Mankind

Is It OKAY for a Woman to Want More?

This book was written for EVERY woman who has questions tugging at her heart and begging for answers—about her true identity, her desires, her purpose, the world and her space in it. It is for the woman who woke up one day and decided that her version of “Eden” was no longer enough and decided to start asking questions from a deep-rooted conviction that there was MORE. To every prodigy, child and aspirant whose parents, bosses and mentors had created some picture-perfect castle but who had desires higher than being a princess—desires which led you to kick things around and create the disruption that somehow led you into the discovery of purpose.

This applies especially to the woman who was expected to be satisfied with what you had and your lot in life but seemed to wake up every day to an unshakeable question: “IS THIS ALL THAT THERE IS?”

Why I Wrote This Book

This book is a product of a Bible study I had with a group of women on the story of Eve. In that instance, one Eve recognized another in those two chapters of the book of Genesis. I felt so strongly that I knew that woman. I recognized her. She’d been in my prayer closet. I’d seen her in my mirror. I identified her on my dining table. I knew what she was thinking and why. And with all respect (I now have some respect for her), I have been there; but God came for me differently and our paths differed.

This book is not to justify her choices, but to honour her story and identify her desires. It is for you if you have felt a desire to grow beyond your station, be wiser and greater, rule your world, subdue it, and have dominion. If you harbour these desires and the world around you wonders why you think you should be more, or makes you feel entitled and greedy, you need to read up. I now know there’s nothing wrong with me. My feelings and desires are not only valid but are also divine. It’s not just what I tell myself; I would like to show you how it went down with Eve and the right way to process these desires towards a purposeful destiny.

It would be my honour to be your guide on this trip as you flip through these pages. Let’s get started, shall we?

What Other Readers Say...

This book is such a blessing as it addresses the very important areas of life. It teaches us how to understand and have a better disposition to the things we go through in our lives. ‘Discovering your yearning’ will help you understand true peace and growth. The book also did a good work of explaining and showing who a woman is and what she's made of. More so, you can't get to understand or know your purpose outside the person who made you. I am glad to have read this book, and I can categorically say that this book has blessed me tremendously and I am sure it will do so for you.

Oftentimes, we don’t realize what we require to be propelled into our purpose. Other times, we need someone outside of ourselves to put a torchlight to our view, thereby lighting up our minds. This book will help you gain a refreshing perspective on God, life and purpose.

“Allow him to insulate you and you will know what it means to truly live in victory.” This is the word! This book will inspire people to remember who they are, their place in Christ, and to declare the truth boldly and fearlessly as the author has done. Thank you, Grace, for this wonderful piece.

Note from the Author

Dear Eve,

You are made for more, and you are not wrong about your desire to reach greater heights. You were pressured by societal, cultural norms into being shy about these desires. Something made you think this was not you being visionary, but having fleshly and blind ambition. But it was a lie and still is. By keeping your gifts away from production and circulation in the official market, you opened them up for trade on the black market, thereby attracting the wrong bidder. Your gifts and your desire to express them are being manipulated by the wrong players because you first let it get to you that these gifts were not something to be proud of. Alas, bad stuff thrives in darkness!

This is a call to let you know that there are millions of other Eves with gifts like yours who, after messing around a while, stepped into the light and had no option but to brandish their gifts in the presence of the shadowless Light. Consequently, their gifts were left with no other options than to make room and materialize for impact.

It’s your turn to join the league of these purpose-led women.
